TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Bed & Breakfast Bastide La Folle du Logis applies the following general terms and conditions. These are in effect from the moment of reservation up to and including the stay in our B&B.

1. General

General Terms and Conditions apply to all users of B&B Bastide La Folle du Logis, as well as all students and participants of the Painting Workshops and other Retreats.
These General Terms and Conditions come into force when entering into a rental agreement.
A copy of these Terms and Conditions will be provided to users, free of charge, upon request.
Tenants must have a permanent place of residence.
The owner is not liable for damage, loss or theft of the users' property. In the event of a dispute, all (legal) costs will are for the account of the users.
All risks related to a stay at B&B La Folle du Logis are the responsibility of the users.
Damage and loss of the owner's movable and immovable property must be reported immediately by the users and reimbursed to the owner.
Guests must follow owner's instructions.
The owner can deny and/or refuse guests access to B&B Bastide La Folle du Logis in case of violation of these General Terms and Conditions and in case of inappropriate behavior with immediate effect, without further notice and reason and without refund of accommodation costs.
The administration of the owner is decisive in case of disagreement unless the users can proof otherwise.
Guests of B&B Bastide La Folle du Logis, must comply with the House Rules below.
Anita Hageman and Guus de Jongh are the owners and managers of B&B Bastide La Folle du Logis, otherwise referred to as owner. The owner can be replaced.

2. Reservation and confirmation

*No extra costs will be charged for booking a stay at B&B Bastide La Folle du Logis.

*The rental agreement can be entered into orally, by telephone, in writing, by e-mail or via Booking.com, Airbnb, Gites.nl and Chambresdhoteswijzer .

After receiving your reservation request, B&B Bastide La Folle du Logis will send you a confirmation (if space is available) and the reservation is final. (An exception to this is a reservation via Booking.com; this is immediately final)
Our booking/reservation confirmations refer to these General Terms and Conditions.
We use a minimum stay of 3 consecutive nights
It is not possible to add an extra bed in the room, with the exception of a baby cot for the smallest up to 2 years old. An extra cost of 25 Euro per night will be charged for a baby cot.

3. Payment

Upon confirmation of the reservation, the user will receive an overview of the costs and 25% of the total amount must be paid as a down payment within 10 days.

The other accommodation costs must be transferred or paid in cash upon arrival. It is not possible to pay this at the end of the stay.
The owner can deviate from these conditions in consultation with the user.

4. Cancellation and no show (don't come without cancellation)

CORONA! In some uncertain times, we understand that it is sometimes not possible to comply with a lease, but as a company we naturally also have to deal with the disadvantages of this period. That is why we have added a number of new rules to our cancellation policy for you and ourselves:

If a new Lockdown in France is unexpectedly called, it is possible for you, as a guest, to cancel completely free of charge at all times.
Has the rental agreement already been entered into and you would rather not take a PCR test to enter France, or you are still waiting for your vaccination then we do not see this as a valid reason to cancel and the normal (below) cancellation conditions apply because you could already know this, before the booking was made.
Have you unexpectedly tested positive with the Corona virus: contact us as soon as possible and we will look for a suitable solution, such as transferring a holiday or a voucher.

Normal cancellations:

In the unlikely event that you are unable to fulfill the rental agreement entered into, you must report this to us as soon as possible so that we can still offer the released date to third parties.
1. Cancellation is free of charge up to 10 weeks before arrival date.
2. Cancellation from 10 weeks to 6 weeks before arrival can still be canceled without giving reasons minus the down payment that has been paid or is still due.
3. In case of cancellation from 6 weeks - 3 weeks before the arrival date, 50% of the total amount is due
4. In case of cancellation from 3 weeks - 1 week before the arrival date, 75% of the total amount is due
5. In case of cancellation from 1 week before the arrival date, 100% of the total amount is due
6. In case of no-show, 100% of the total amount is also due

5. Key B&B

As a guest you will receive a key to the B&B. You return this upon departure.
As a guest you are responsible for correctly closing the entrance door and entrance gate of the B&B.
Loss of the key is for the costs of the contractor (€ 25) and will be paid in cash or afterwards by invoice by the contractor at check-out.

HOUSEHOLD RULES

Arrival and departure

On the day of arrival you can use your accommodation from 3 pm.
On the day of departure, the accommodation must be vacated by 10 am.
It is only possible to deviate from the above times in consultation.
There is no refund for early departure.

Breakfast and food

Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 10:00 a.m and in consultation.
When checking out before 07:00 there is no possibility of breakfast, but a cup of coffee is possible
Food brought along, provided that it is small, is allowed in the designated areas in consultation.

Your stay

Noise pollution, especially between 10 PM and 7 AM, should be avoided.
Use of the accommodation by third parties is not permitted. Visitors are not allowed to spend the night in the Bed & Breakfast without the permission of the manager and without additional payment.
Vehicles can be parked on the Bed & Breakfast's own grounds, in the places designated by the owner. The area in front of the house (gravel) is “car-free”
Waste must be deposited in the rubbish bin and larger waste can be placed in one of the containers outside the gate.
Pets are not allowed on the Bastide.
Smoking is not allowed in the house and outside only in designated areas.
Use of the pool is at your own risk and only during the times indicated.
